Our Story
In the summer of 2021, a pivotal phone call heralded a significant shift in my life’s trajectory. In response, I made the proactive decision to temporarily suspend personal pursuits, opting instead to stow away belongings and embark on a journey to Southern California. There, I resettled into the familiar confines of my childhood abode, assuming the role of caregiver for my parents.
Following the passing of my stepfather in 2022, I assumed primary responsibility for the care of my mother, a duty undertaken with utmost dedication. This journey not only involved providing attentive care but also necessitated a deep dive into the intricate workings of healthcare systems, pension plans, and Medicare.
In navigating these complex realms, I cultivated a robust understanding, equipping me with invaluable insights into the intersection of caregiving and financial management. Through this experience, I recognized the potential for a tailored service model aimed at supporting caregivers in similar situations, leveraging both compassionate care and strategic financial acumen.
